I have noticed lately how cool it is to go to Macomb to get groceries and not need much. With the rabbits and garden,, there's very little I have to actually go and buy. I'm still stocking up on canning jars. I know I'll be needing them more and more as the tomatoes start. We have been canning the rabbit in the wide mouth quart jars. We don't have to cut them up as much and they fit nicely (without the rib section. They will be cooked for more soups)
We raise pedigreed Californian and Rex rabbits. We are members of the American Rabbit Breeders Association. We are DIYers of many things and enjoy the outdoors. We are beginners at a lot of things, aiming at being experts, but happy with where we currently are.
