Dewayne has developed a horrible, annoying cough. He was coughing so hard he was tasting blood...yuck. I looked up some home remedies. I mixed equal parts of honey and lemon juice. He takes a little every now and then and his coughing has gotten a little better. Cough drops did no good on this cough.
I am going to make a chest rub next. We'll see if that helps.
The honey and lemon juice helped to ease the cough. He didn't feel he needed the chest rub yet. He says this is the best "cough syrup" he's ever had and didn't make him sick to his stomach like cough syrups do.
